I received a free copy of a different novel by LJ Sellers. After looking at her website, I realized that I needed to read the previous books in the series. So I bought them and this was the first.
/>I was really interested in the characters and their development since I have more to read in the series. LJ does a very good job with the characters as I was able to feel their essence in the story.

The story was sufficiently ambiguous to keep me interested and second guessing myself. The ending was a bit rushed to me. I thought that she had all the loose ends wrapped up in very quick fashion. I would have preferred an ending in keeping with the quality of the rest of the novel.

I look forward to reading the rest of the books in the series.
