I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
As I was reading this book I realized that I was missing something. That something was the first book in the series. I didn't realize I was reading the second installment. I still was enthusiastic about the story line. I think the author did a good job of creating equal opportunity strong characters. The acti0on was non-stop and divided into three theaters of conflict. The plot was diverse with different leading characters and political aspirations. My only question is whether I need to read the first book to fully understand the story line.
