This book has three concurrent plots. It takes a while to realize which is the central theme. Curiously, the title item, the Homicide Chart, is relegated to the background. Once the chart comes into the forefront, the real tragedy of the book becomes apparent.
The characters are well developed to the point that I could visualize them and was pulling for them. To me, that is a hallmark of a talented author. This story is captivating and interesting and well worth the price.
