I just don't understand the point to this novella. I do get it that it is a serial story supposedly in the steampunk genre but this installment is too short to generate interest for me. I understand that the author wants to generate revenue by writing a bunch of short novellas in a serial format. As a reader, having to wait many times to read a chopped up story is simply not going to happen. I don't want to have to try and remember what happened in each previous series of the story. It is like watching a tv series one episode every other month. This is all rather unfortunate as the author has talent.
