The Last Coyote is a metaphor that you will understand when you read this book. Michael Connelly writes somewhat slow but intricate stories. The central character, Harry Bosch, is the quintessential old school detective that is having a difficult time fitting into the politically correct world. He tries to be the good and honest cop but gets frustrated as he seems to have extraordinary bad luck. This book is as good, if not better than the previous three. I will utilize the library system so that I can read all of the Bosch novels.
