I have zero interest in things Voodoo and the like. So, when I started reading Devil Bones, I was thinking that I would give it one sitting and see where it went. All the while, I thought I would be putting it down due to the subject matter. I was truly surprised at how well Ms. Reichs handled the topic. The story line revolves around Voodoo but does not dwell on the varied facets of it. The author manages to keep her style at the forefront of the story. Overall I was very pleased with the story. I was not overly happy about competition for Ryan. I would have taken Harry over Anne again in place of Charlie.
