I do enjoy the Kathy Reichs Temperance Brennan series. I like that she throws in some scientific tidbits that add credibility to the forensics part of the story.
I liked the change in locale to Yellowknife. I did not realize that Canada has become a player in diamond production and found that part interesting.
The premise of the story with the dead newborn babies was enticing and I was looking forward to some creative explanation. I was a bit let down by the reality of the dead babies. I just don't believe the premise happening four times without officials or people around Annelise knowing about the pregnancies.
This is a satisfactory quick read. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because this book was so much like the formula she uses in other books.
