This book starts off with a number of seemingly unrelated chapters. Of course, I knew they would eventually come together and they mostly did. I thought the unfurling of the storyline was well crafted. I liked the first person usage of a number of characters.
I gave it 4 stars (3.5 really) because the ending was a bit weak and there was (too me) a completely unrelated to the story. Another minor problem to me was that Detective Konrad Sejer was barely a main character. He was more prevalent in the first three books of the series.
